I know it's been a long time since I posted last! Actually its been over a year! I am the worst blogger ever! I plan on starting back up with at least 4 blogs a week! Lets hope I can keep this up! Well Deserved Update

It has been forever since I have updated our blog. Here lately it seems like every time I am on here I am writing an update. So sorry. The past few months have been amazing! This pregnancy has gone by so fast! I am already 30 weeks!! It is hard to believe in just 10 weeks our little Adilynn Kade will be joining our family! Kyle is still working (Thank You lord!!) So many people are still laid off, it is so nice getting a pay check every week!! Keagan is growing so fast! We took him to his 15 month check-up and he weighed 28 pounds and was 32 3/4 inches tall! He is changing everyday. He has such an attitude right now! He can give some seriously hateful looks! On the down side some things have changed for this pregnancy. Everything has been going very smooth, too smooth for my comfort. I had several complications with Keagan so Dr. Del Valle has been keeping a close watch on things. I went Monday morning for my 30 week appointment and he wanted to go ahead and check me, just to make sure things were still going good. I didn't argue because I had felt a lot of pressure the night before and just wanted peace of mind knowing it was all normal. No such luck. I have thinned 70% and dilated to 1. The doctor says he really thinks I will be okay, and Kade will last a few more weeks as long as I go on bed rest. Okay great anything for her health, one problem though...my 15 month old! If anyone has a child under the age of 2 (or a a child period) you know how difficult it can be, and how bed rest is IMPOSSIBLE! Luckily I have an amazing mother-in-law and she has been coming over everyday to watch Keagan, clean the house, do the laundry, and she even cooks:) . Life throws some crazy curves, but everyone say a prayer for our little Kade and hopefully everything will continue to go well!

I have been so busy with finishing up the last couple of final exams, chasing Keagan around, working around this growing belly, and planning Keagans VERY FIRST BIRTHDAY, I just forgot to post pictures from Easter. I know all parents think that their baby is the cutest and smartest and all those good things...but MY BABY on Easter Sunday had to be the coolest looking baby out there! Not only did he look cool he loved all the food and hunting his very first Easter egg! So...here are a few shots from our Easter Sunday.

New Baby Ultrasound Picutres

Here are a few pictures from our first ultrasound with baby #2. These were just taken at around 5 weeks. Lol the baby just looks like a little speck but it is the cutest speck ever! We could see the heartbeat though, that was a relief!

A little white lie...

In the previous blog I mentioned I had completely updated... well that could have been a little white lie. On the 18 of February Kyle and I found out we were expecting baby #2! It was a complete shock and not planned at all, but we are both extremely excited! It kind of throws the nursing school plans to the back burner, but God knows what he is doing, and we have to trust in him! Kyle says if he had his way this baby would be a boy and the next one would be a girl...I just laughed and said yeah lets hope this one is a girl! I guess it's a good thing...my sister and I were five years apart and we fought all the time. Now I'm not saying fighting won't be happening but lets hope it's kept to a minimum. I love Keagan with all my heart and it's hard to see myself loving another baby as much as I love him, but everyone tells me there is no other feeling. I pray that everything goes smoothly with this pregnancy. With Keagan I was put on bed rest at 19 weeks and he still arrived a month early. We are all hoping that doesn't happen this time! Well now I am completely updated! Love you all and have a great weekend!

A Little Update

I just wanted to apologize to everyone. I have not blogged in months! I do have a pretty good excuse... a nine month old, school, marriage, a husband, a house...lol you get the point! Everything is going pretty good. On the 19 I took the HESI (it is the nursing entrance exam) and did pretty good. So in the next few months around April or May I will find out if I will be attending the Nursing Program in the Fall. Wish me luck! Keagan is growing so fast now days... I swear he weighs close to 30 pounds...well that may be pushing it, but seriously I know at least 22 pounds. He turns a year old on May 1 and it is killing me, my little baby is growing up. I cried a couple nights ago... we had gotten him to sleep and took him to his crib, Kyle kissed him goodnight and walked out... I usually stay in there for a minute or two just to watch him sleep... I noticed on this particular night, Keagan was over half as long at the matress... I just started crying, and then started thinking in 10 years he is going to hate me! LOL I know it's ridiculous but its heart breaking! I love watching him grow and change but a little part of me wishes he would stay small forever! Well that's about as updated as it gets... Keagan's First Christmas

This year was Keagan's first Christmas! We had a blast shopping for him, but I did have some trouble firguring out what to buy for an eight month old. Kyle's mom and my mom didn't seem to have to much trouble...we have clothes and toys everywhere in the house now! And he got the cutest pair of new balances :)What would ya do without grandparents! Here are a few pictures I took Christmas eve, Christmas morning and we tried getting a few at each stop that day...not to mention the pictures we got of Uncle Josh and Keagan!

To everyone (Ashley) who has been upset that I haven't updated my blog here it goes.... :) For the past few weeks Keagan has been really sick. He keeps getting ear infections and right now he has a small one in his left ear but a really bad one in his right ear. For anyone who has gone through this " I am SO SO SORRY" this is the worst thing possible. He can't tell me what's wrong so all he does is cry. I feed him, change his diaper, give him a bath, rock him, let him have his binkie, put him in his jumper, set him on the floor, and ALL he does is cry, then I cry, then we start over...I feed him, change his diaper- you get the point. He doesn't sleep and I don't sleep. A couple nights ago he fell asleep and grunted the whole night because he was in such pain. I can't wait for these things to go away... I do have to be thankfull all it is- is an ear infection. On that note I should mention Kyle's best friend lost his sister just in the past couple days... It's never easy seeing someone pass, but there is something about being a mom and seeing a child pass. Your whole perspective changes. I do know God has taken this little girl for a reason, but it doesn't stop feelings of anger or sadness. She was young and innocent, but all things happen for a reason and we have to believe that...if we didn't we wouldn't have anything to live for. Anyone who prays - pray. Just pray.

Now that Keagan is six months old the doctors suggested trying new things. We have been giving him cereals from a spoon for a while now and that's been going good. So we decided to try a little water. At first we gave him a sippy cup but that did not go well at all! He just kept hitting himself in the head with the hard plastic! Yea- great first experience! So I being the brilliant person I am decided I would just take the lid off and give him a drink myself....Well not only did it run all down his chest, onto his belly, and soaked his socks...he made this face...

I mean it's water...who knew it could taste this bad? Ha Ha

I have always loved brown hair- Kyle on the other hand would much rather I stay blond. However, I finally took the plunge and went dark! I have to say I am loving it, and Kyle seems to really like it too... :) He keeps telling me that anyways! My dad told him it would be like cheating without really cheating ha ha gotta love dad! I love it but I am really excited about Kyle loving it!! I may just stay this color for a while!!

There were a hundred costumes to choose from but this being the only Halloween I would have much say in...I chose something a little more baby-ish! He was the most precious thing- and boy did he love his costume! He threw a little fit when we took it off of him! I can't wait for next year!!

It seems like it has been months since I have blogged. I have been so incredibly busy! Within the past few weeks Keagan has had two terrible ear infections, Kyle has been changing positions at work, and I have re-applied for school.
Having a sick baby is not an easy task. If anyone has children they know the feeling. I would get aggravated because he would not stop crying, but then I would feel bad because he was in such pain. A mom's job is an emotional roller coaster! All of my friends have been calling and asking why I have been ignoring them...To be honest, I just want to be alone the few quite minutes I get right before I go to bed. But no need to worry friends- I'm not ignoring you :)
I have not only been dealing with a sick baby, but I had to get in all of my paper work to Motlow for early registration! My plan ( lol if only plans worked in my life ha ha ) I registered for Mycro, History, and Dosage and Calculations for this spring semester. I will take the nursing entrance exam in February, and hopefully begin nursing school in the fall. Everyone I have talked to who is currently in the program tells me how ridicuously difficult it is...To note- they don't have a six and a half month old! So everyone pray that I succeed in this journey!! It's going to be a long, rough road but it's something I have wanted my whole life!!
Well Mr. Keagan has decided to wake up and it's lunch time! :) I'll blog later with some updated photos!!

One Happy Birthday Boy..

One Happy Birthday Boy explains it all! After I told Kyle it was just us eating out Friday night he seemed a little sad. I knew he would cheer up soon :) Ashley text me all the way down to Tullahoma. She was so excited about helping with a surprise birthday party! Everyone from Red Lobster was so willing to help us out! Everyone went on down a head of us so they could surprise Kyle and the staff stashed them away in a back corner table. When we got there the hostess knew who I was and acted like they had a special seat for us :) She sure did...she walked us back to the corner and everyone siting there had a menu in their face. Kyle started getting mad and said he wasn't siting with someone else- right then everyone screamed SURPRISE!! He was so excited- he couldn't speak he just grinned from ear to ear. I felt like the best wife in the world....I had finally pulled off a great surprise!!

Kyle's Birthday

So October is a full month of nothing but birthdays! I have three friends, a cousin, and a husband whose birthday is in October! Tomorrow is Kyle's 23 birthday. Poor guy has been so depressed about the whole thing. He thinks he is getting old. I know I know 23 is not old at all, but to be fair when I turned 20 it hurt pretty good. It's kind of a wake up call I think...It's like someone is telling you- Hey you are finally an adult!! They say you are an adult when you turn 18 but I really felt it at 20! So I can't be too harsh when he complains!!
He thinks we are just going out to eat together alone on Friday, but boy do I have different plans!! I lied a little and said it was just a night alone- but when we get to the restaurant all of our closest friends will be there with balloons and a cake to wish him a happy birthday!! Then we are going back to the house to hang out! I gotta get Ashley to bring Rock Band over! I finally played the game this weekend and I am addicted!!
OH...off of the subject but Keagan poked a little tooth through today!! The weird thing is it's not one of the four front- it's off to the left side! It is the cutest thing in the whole world!! I cried :( he is growing so so fast!! Before I know it he will be graduating from high school!
Well gotta run and watch our Sunday night shows!! Everyone wish Kyle a Happy Birthday tomorrow- but try and leave out the surprise for this weekend!!

Keagan's Adventures

Anyone who has a child knows the smallest things are the cutest things! Now who can look at these pictures and not crack up! We borrowed this bumbo seat from someone to see how he would like it and let me tell you- he was one proud boy when he realized he was sitting up all on his own (we won't tell him he had a little help from the seat) :) Well that was cute but what was even better was watching him try to shove both of his hands into his mouth at the same time!! He is teething so EVERYTHING goes into his mouth...especially his fingers! I just had to share these pictures with everyone- I guess I may be a little proud :) these moments are the ones that make life worth while :)

Softball Weekend

Kyle has played softball for years now and ever since Keagan was born we have missed MAYBE two weekends of ball! I'm beginning to wonder if Kyle thinks if Keagan is at the ball field every weekend he will be a good ball player... ha ha Anyways, out of all these weekends I have never taken pictures. Well, I went picture crazy two weekends ago!! I'm not the best photographer in the world :) but I got some good pictures of the two most important men in my life!!

Well things have changed! I was going to be in the Rock Island craft fair Oct. 4 and 5, but I finally got a booth in the Autumn Street Fair ... which is Oct. 4. So, considering there will be a TON of people at the Autumn Street Fair I decided to do both. I'll be in town on the 4th and in Rock Island the 5th!! I can't wait for this!! Well to start with I'm pretty new at this whole blog thing. Ashley Freeman taught me how to use everything. I guess I could start out with what's going on in my life...cause isn't that what everyone wants to know about...ha ha. Unfortunately my life isn't very exciting. Like I said in my profile Kyle and I were married a little over a year ago and four months ago we had Keagan...I use the word "WE" loosely :) As of now I couldn't ask for anything more out of life. I stay at home for and now and do whatever it is Keagan decides he wants to do at that given moment! I have a husband I love and who loves me and a son neither one of us would trade :) Even though he is a little broken....he cries and spits up A LOT! Kyle has been pushing me into finding a hobby I enjoy for at least the past year and a half and I think I have finally found it. I love jewelry and I know it seems like everyone here lately has been saying that...but I really do think I'm a little different than most ( well some people would say in more ways than one...ha) A few weeks ago I was looking at some bracelets and necklaces I wanted but they were just so expensive. The more I looked at them the more I thought ya know I could make that...Well turns out I have a small Knack for creating jewelry. I spent a ton of money on beads and clasps and tools, gosh everything anyone would ever need I bought. Well I asked Kyle what he thought about the pieces I made and his first response was how they looked like something someone could buy in a store- well obviously we are a young family therefore low on money so my mind started turning. I thought well if I could make this stuff and sale it for what I have in it plus a couple of bucks for the time I put towards the piece I may be able to do well with this. According to my friends and family I am just as good as anyone else. Obviously that would make anyone feel good :) but it did come from my friends and family. So as soon as I get a chance I'm going to post some pictures of the pieces I have made so far. Anyone who feels like leaving a comment- Please Do....even if it's criticism....anything that will help :) I'm open to all opinions. I'm not trying to start a big franchise or anything but I do want to try and create things people will enjoy. Lacey Griffith and Ashley Freeman have already bought a few things from me and they have told me several times they love them :) Lacey bought a necklace, bracelet, and earrings I had made and Ashley came over and chose the beads she wanted and I mad her a two strand bracelet that she loves! My prices are extremely cheap- bracelets are anywhere from $8.00 to $12.00, Necklaces are $10.00 to $15.00 , Earrings are $3.00- $5.00 and Sets just depend on what you get- My prices range because it depends on what type of bead or charm you decide on using in your piece of jewelry. I'll have several pieces posted that will be for sale or I can always custom make something for you. Thanks to everyone who took the time to look at and read my blog!
